BAKIT MUKHA PA RING STRESSED KAHIT MAY TULOG NAMAN?

Ever wondered bakit parang nangangayayat na tayo?
Na kahit ilang oras ang bawiin sa tulog, 
parang wala pa ring tulog dahil sa laki ng eyebags?
What more pa ang trabahong pati sa pagtulog ay dala-dala?

Minsan ba napapanaginipan n’yo na rin ang work n’yo?
Ilang beses n’yo na bang dinala sa bahay ang trabaho?

“Kailangan kong tapusin ito kasi malapit na ang deadline…”
“Ang dami pang gagawin, hindi enough ang oras sa office!”
“Kung madadagdagan lang sana ang 24 hours sa isang araw…”

Naku! Ang pangit pakinggan ‘no?
Pero signs na ito na tumatanda na tayo, kapatid! Ha-ha!
Gone were the days na puro computer games lang tayo after class.
Madalang na lang ang social life,
more on alone time na sa coffee shops.
Magkabilaang meetings at gatherings na ang inaatupag.
Pagkatapos magtataka na lang tayo one day,
mas stressed pa yung itsura natin kaysa sa mga magulang natin. Nyay!

“Bakit gano’n, Chinkee? Natutulog at nakakapagpahinga pa rin naman ako…”

LET’S RECHECK OUR LIFESTYLE

Baka naman kasi kaya mukha pa rin tayong stressed
kahit ilang oras pa yung naging tulog natin
ay dahil wala sa tamang oras at disposition.
Let’s say we stayed late at night for the last 3 weeks.
Tapos babawiin lang natin in 3 days?
Matutulog magdamag o kaya’y tulog ulit pagkatapos kumain.

Malabo talagang mabawi ang beauty rest natin, kapatid!
Compare 3 weeks with 3 days.
Our cells cannot regenerate nang gano’n kadali.
Why do we stress sleep here? Dahil aside sa pagkain,
ang isa sa malaking contribution sa ating kalusugan ay ang tulog.
Malaking bagay ang makapagpahinga ng tama at maayos.
Kaya let’s recheck our kind of lifestyle. Baka may hindi na tama.

REMOVE THE UNHEALTHY HABITS

Kung nakita na natin ang problema sa ating lifestyle,
so then that’s the time to minimize or better to remove it.
Mahirap man sa umpisa, pero the moment na simulan natin
at magpatuloy itong gawin sa loob ng 21 days, makikita natin yung result.

Why do we need to remove our unhealthy habits?
Unang una sa lahat, unhealthy siya. 
Walang magandang maidudulot sa ating katawan at kalusugan.
Ang hindi pagkain sa tamang oras dahil may kailangang tapusing report.
Isa rin ito sa unhealthy habits na kailangan nating i-work on.
At marami pang iba. One thing to know is to re-evaluate ourselves.
Mas tayo ang nakakaalam ng katawan natin. 
Kay tayo rin mismo ang unang tutulong sa sarili natin.

DEVELOP A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE INSIDE AND OUT

Kung na-evaluate na natin ang ating sarili
from the healthy and unhealthy lifestyle,
then that’s the time to develop a healthy lifestyle from inside out.
How do we do this? First we must understand:

“Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit,
who lives in you and who was given to you by God?
You do not belong to yourselves but to God.”
[1 Corinthians 6:19 GNT]

As soon as we understand that our body belongs to God,
we must take care of it physically, mentally and spiritually.
We cannot live or work if our mind and body are not in good condition.
Pati ang performance natin sa trabaho ay maapektuhan
kahit gaano pa tayo ka-hardworking and workaholic.
We must act on this at huwag pabayaan
ang stress na magdala ng ating lifestyle.

“Ang trabaho, pwedeng ipagpabukas kung hindi na kaya.
Pero ang kalusugan, maaaring masira at maapektuhan ng tuluyan kapag napabayaan ”
