Naalala ko noon nagkaroon kami ng
hindi pagkakaintindihan ng aking anak.
I know it was her fault so I was waiting for her
to approach me and at least say SORRY.
Then she came to my wife and
told her what happened.
At first, gusto ko magmatigas,
But then I realized,
hindi naman porket tayo ang magsosorry
eh ibig sabihin tayo ang mali.
Kadalasan kasi, hindi natin maiwasang maging matigas.
Gusto natin tayo pa lagi ang susuyuin after what a person did to us.
This is okay. This is normal, nasaktan tayo eh.
But the thing is, gusto ba natin madinig ang salitang iyon
dahil we are really hurt or gusto naman natin talaga gumawa ng move
If we think the person or the relationship
is more important than what happened,
it’s always OKAY to say sorry.
Dahil…

ang relationship than the issue we’re
fighting or arguing about.
I’m sure you have heard the lines:
“Sige na kalimutan na natin yun.”
“Wala na yun tapos na yun.”
“Huwag na natin balikan, let’s start again.”
We say these because we really want to forgive and forget.
Ganon kasimple. We want to start a new leaf
with the person that we love.
Wala ng turuan.
Wala ng balikan ng nakaraan.
HINDI PORKET NAGSORRY, MAHINA TAYO

No. This is not a sign of weakness.
Kahit masakit, pinili nating bitawan at kalimutan
so we can put our ‘forgiving face’ on.
Kaya don’t be afraid to do something na
gusto naman talaga natin gawin — ang magpatawad.
Kung ready naman na tayo, why not? Go for it!
Because remember…
IF GOD CAN FORGIVE, WHY CAN’T WE?
(Photo from this Link)
Let’s take a look on all the things that we have done
and I’m sure lahat tayo nasaktan na ang Panginoon.
But you know what?
He still forgives us over and over and over again.
Because He loves us so much and
He wants to give us a chance to change for the better.
And I believe we should do the same thing.
Na continue to love and continue to give a person a chance.
“Ang sakit na masyado Chinkee.”
“Walang kapatawaran yung ginawa niya.”
“Parang hindi ko ata kaya.”
Maybe we can’t see some changes now…
Maybe it’s hard lalo na kung paulit-ulit…
Pero God can change a person’s heart.
Hindi man natin mapagbago yung tao but
He surely can IN HIS TIME.
Just try to forgive then let Him take control of the situation.

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
- Sino yung taong hirap mo patawarin?
- Bakit? Anong nangyari?
