Shopping Now, Pulubi Later

HINDI NA BALE KUNG LUMA ANG GAMIT BASTA MAY LAMAN ANG BULSA

“Sale, Buy 1, Take 1 Promo, 50% Off On All Items, Limited Offer???”

WINDOW SHOPPING

“Titingin lang ako, promise.”
“Sisilipin ko lang kung may bago.”
“Iikot lang naman ako, habang nagpapalamig.”

We keep on saying these things sa tuwing nagbabalak tayong pumunta ng malls, pero we always end up na may bitbit na supot ng mga pinamili. Tama?

It???s because we have our weak spots tulad ng grocery, shoes, bags, or electronic sections – na kung saan hindi natin maiiwasang matalo tayo ng temptation as we stroll along every aisle.

Breaking this habit requires strict discipline. Ask yourself first:

Here???s the thing, ano ba ang meron sa wallet natin? Kadalasan, naroon ang allowance natin for the week or o ang buong sweldo – pati na rin ang credit card.

“Uy, dami ko pa palang pera. Pwede pa ako bumili.”
“Yes, dala ko ang credit card ko!”

The thought itself can make us lose a lot of money dahil ang akala nating extra money, eh ‘yun na pala dapat ang panggastos natin to survive and sustain our daily needs.

We should only bring enough when we go out nang sa gayon, tayo ang mag-a-adjust sa kung ano lang ang meron tayo at the moment. LEARN TO BUDGET.

SHOPPING WITH EMOTIONS

Bad trip sa office, mamimili para makalimot.
It was a happy and productive day, mamimili as reward sa sarili.
Nade-depress sa buhay, mamimili para kumalma.

Ito ‘yung mga tinatawag nating shopping with emotions.

Naku! And this, mga kapatid, is the quickest way to get broke.

Pwede naman tayong mag-relax o maglabas ng sama ng loob without spending tulad ng reading a book, taking long baths, or maglakad-lakad sa park.

ENVY

“Bakit meron siya noon? Makabili nga din.”
“Yabang naman niya. Kahit sampu, kaya kong bumili niyan.”

Envy can lead to competition and competition can lead to more and more shopping and debts. Ayaw kasi nating natatalbugan tayo ng ibang tao. So the moment that we see others purchase something new, gusto nating meron din tayo noon.
