SAPAT NA ORAS SA PAMILYA O SA CELLPHONE?

August 13, 2019 By Chinkee Tan

We are indeed very thankful sa mabilis
ating cellphone.

Imagine this, pag-uwi natin ng bahay na pagod at drained.
While seeing our family na buo sa hapag-kainan;
masaya, nagkukwentuhan at nagbibiruan.
Then here we are, masyadong busy sa pagpindot sa cellphone.
Knowing na from our work,
halos computer na rin ang kaharap natin.

Kaya bago pa tuluyang nakawin ng cellphone
ang oras natin sa ating pamilya, here are three things that we can
do to make time with them:

PUT OUR CELLPHONES OUT OF OUR REACH

the more na mas malapit ang temptation.

If we are serious on spending time with our family,
Pwede tayong maging praktikal by putting boundaries
ang pagsasantabi ng ating gadgets just to be with our family,
para sa atin ay big deal ito. We can start little by little hanggang sa
maging habit na.

FILTER THE MESSAGES OR NOTIFICATIONS NA SASAGUTIN

One of the tendencies why sometimes we cannot resist
not to use our phones are the messages and notifications coming in.
Hindi naman sa ipinagbabawal all the way,
but then again, setting boundaries at the same time.

We can silent our phone or put in “do not disturb” mode for a couple of minutes.
Then we can filter the messages or notifications we can answer and entertain.
Kung work concern, pero ‘di naman urgent, we may set it aside and answer it the
next day when going to work. Kung personal concern naman, we can answer it
but with limitations until what time ang ating conversation. Hindi siguro namamalayan
ng iba na inaabot na pala sila ng one to two hours just by answering chat and messages.

SET A SPECIFIC TIME SLOT WHEN TO USE OUR PHONES

This is also a way to discipline ourselves toward using gadgets.
Too much using of these might cause us illnesses that can be severe later
on if hindi maagapan.

Limiting ourselves from using gadgets and setting a duration on using it
is also one way of taking care of ourselves, aside from nurturing a quality time
with our family. Kaya’t bago tayo ma-addict sa ating gadgets at mawalan ng time
for our family, let’s remember this always…
