Pres. Duterte’s SONA’s Quotable Quote: Those Who Betray The People’s Trust Shall Not Go Unpunished

THOSE WHO BETRAY THE PEOPLE???S TRUST SHALL NOT GO UNPUNISHED

Allow me to deviate from my regular series of money and inspiration and start a series of blog entries inspired by the State of the Nation Address of our good president, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

I just find it revealing and enlightening. I also want us to learn and pick up great lessons from his speech.

These are the very words of our good president,
Let me say clearly that those who betray the people???s trust shall not go unpunished, and they will have their day in court.

It???s good to know that we have a leader who is willing to do what is right, rather than be a populist and just conform to what others think is right.

We also make poor choices at minsan, kahit alam nating mali, ginagawa pa rin natin ito. But one thing is for sure, the wrong things that we???ve done will surely have a string of consequences.

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

The same is true in our lives. Lahat ng ginagawa natin ay maaaring bumalik as a reward or a consequence. You choose. Some may even say it is “karma”, but I say “you reap what you sow”.

WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR OWN ACTIONS.

We need to remind ourselves, no matter what our excuse may be, choice natin ito.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR MISTAKES ARE NOT IMMEDIATE.

It takes time. It takes time to plant and it also takes time to harvest.
