One of the big mistakes in life is to keep pretending
as if we are still okay even though we really are not.
We tend to keep our problems at solohin.
Which mostly leads to mental problem at times.
While we know that we can address this right away,
let us not neglect na pwede natin itong masolusyonan.
Paano kaya natin pwedeng gawin ito?
We can simply admit that…
IT’S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY
Sa panahon ngayon, naging campaign na
ng most private and public organizations ang mental health.
Kung noon ay parang isang kasalanan
ang hindi maging okay mentally, it’s good to know that presently most of us are cutting the stigma.
We, too, must start in ourselves sa thinking na,
“It’s okay not to be okay.”
Mostly ang iba ay natatakot ipakita ang frustrations,
failures, mistakes and other disappointments.
Baka kasi ma-judge daw ng iba at mawalan ng kaibigan.
But people who don’t judge others
who are having a hard time coping up to life
are people who are understanding and gracious enough.
Let’s create a culture of safe zone
where it’s okay to not be perfect, admitting our failures,
our pride, our mistakes and frustrations.
Through this, we are also saying to ourselves
that we are also weak who needs someone to save us,
strengthen us and inspire us.
BUT DO NOT STAY AS ‘NOT OKAY’
After admitting that we are not okay,
let’s also make sure that we will stand up.
I-brush off ang ating mga pagkakamali,
disappointments, even self-pity and pride.
Bumangaon tayo at sabihin sa ating sarili na,
“Magsisimula ulit ako!”
Better if we have a support group where we can be accountable.
Kung wala pa, pwede tayong gumawa.
ipagdasal ang mga taong sa tingin natin
ay pwedeng makatulong and will stick with us
through thick and thin, yung willing magbigay ng time and wisdom.
Piliin nating yung mga tao na ang pundasyon ay ang Diyos.
Anyone can give an advice and comfort us but only few has the wisdom
and knowledge that can help us overcome our challenges in life.
ALWAYS TRUST IN THE LORD
We may have been cared for by our trusted support group during our fiery trials,
but remaining an overcomer is possible only through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sabi rin sa Proverbs 3:5-6 [GNB]:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart.
Never rely on what you think you know.
Remember the LORD in everything you do,
and he will show you the right way.”
It is only in the Lord that we can be an overcomer of our problems.
We cannot do it on our own might.
Tandaan, the faith that we have received from our Lord can move mountains.
Let us not grow weary and fainted because of our problems or the people around us. Remember this,
“Daanan lang natin ang ating problema, huwag tayong tumambay. Asahan ang tulong ni Lord at pag-alalay.”
