Parang ang hirap maging masaya noh?
Almusal natin stress.
Tanghalian problema sa bahay.
Hapunan, galit sa sobrang pagod sa trabaho.
Sad to know that we feel this way.
Simple lang sana ang buhay pero
dala ng mga problema natin,
nagiging kumplikado at mabigat.
Nagiging dahilan para sumuko
at mawalan ng gana sa buhay na meron tayo.
As I was thinking about life right now,
I realize na kadalasan, kaya pala tayo
nahihirapan, it’s because we surround ourselves
with temptation para hatakin ang emosyon natin pababa.
We feel that we need to keep up with OTHERS
kaya we get disappointed kapag
hindi natin kaagad nasosolusyunan ang mga ito.
But you know what?
We don’t have to try so hard na makahabol.
Hindi natin kailangan pressure-in ang ating mga sarili
because everything TAKES TIME.
Kung tingin nating nagawa na natin ang dapat,
leave it there and trust the Lord. Dahil
wala naman sa kamay natin ang kasagutan.
Kasi the more we put it inside our heads,
the more it makes us feel bored sa buhay,
feeling natin ulit-ulit na lang ang nangyayari.
And we don’t deserve to feel this way.
Life is meant to be enjoyed.
Here are some simple tips to be ultimately happy:
CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT MASAYA

Kakapilit natin sa ating mga sarili,
ka-ye-YES natin sa utos o demands ng iba
Nawawalan na tayo ng freedom to choose
what will make us happy.
It feels good to SAY NO minsan.
Halimbawa:
Kung gusto natin matulog sa weekend
imbis na gumimik with friends, GO FOR TULOG!
Kung gusto natin mag “ME TIME”—
Just us, a cup of coffee, and a book
imbis na magmall with bff, GO FOR ME TIME!
Kung hindi na natin kaya ang trabaho
and we feel na loaded na tayo masyado,
approach your boss and GO BE HONEST.
Huwag natin pilitin ang sarili natin,
because that’s one cause kaya
hindi tayo nagiging masaya.
MAG BREAK SA MEDIA MASAYA

Pag gising, bukas ng TV at tingin kaagad sa cellphone.
Umagang umaga unang una natin makikita
ay kung gaano ‘kasaya’ ang buhay ng iba,
mga #TravelGoals, #RelationshipGoals
o kaya, mga taong nabaril, nahuli, at napatay.
Paano tayo magiging masaya n’yan
kung dumadaloy ang inggit sa kapwa
o takot sa safety natin?
So ang secret? Take a break o stay away.
Hindi naman kasalanan ng media,
pero aminin natin, kung anong nakikita natin
yun ang ating naaabsorb.
Kapag nagpatalo tayo,
magiging lason ‘yan sa utak at puso natin.
It will bother us so much that it will
make us worry, feel anxious, and
it will lower our self confidence.
Kaya imbis na i-expose ang sarili
sa ganito, we can just…

Okay lang from time to time mag social media
lalo na #MediaisLife for most of us pero
more importantly, spend time with
the things that really matter and
that can make us really happy.
Oras sa Panginoon, pamilya, at kaibigan.
Yung hobby natin na matagal na natin
gusto gawin — arts and crafts, writing,
doing sports, or going to the gym.
Matulog, kumain ng masarap,
makipagkwentuhan, mag-parlor,
mag-videoke, kahit ano!
Sigurado akong may listahan tayo
ng mga bagay na matagal na nating
gusto gawin.
GO FOR IT!
Sayang ang oras.
