Magtipid Ay ‘Di Biro (Part One)

Kahit saan ka lumingon, there is temptation.

It is so hard to live within our means.

NOT ENOUGH INCOME

Tumaas man, kakapiraso lang at halos ‘di mo maramdaman.

SO MANY DISTRACTIONS

Very tempting ang paligid natin. Kahit saan tayo lumingon o tumingin, pakiramdam natin, laging merong ‘need or urge to buy’.

CONVENIENCE TO SPEND

Napakadaling gumastos ngayon. What I???m trying to say here is that it is so easy to spend money these days.

LACK OF CONTENTMENT

I think this is the bottomline. Actually, kahit hindi sapat ang kinikita natin, we can still be joyful and live within our means if we are only contented with simple living. However, we struggle because we crave for more. It may also be because we are insecure, jealous, envious, or deprived.

In my next blog entry, I will share with you some tips on how we can train ourselves to manage our finances well. Makakapagtipid pa rin tayo kung gugustuhin natin. Abangan!

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.

Do you live within or beyond your means?
