In a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest,
and 10 being the highest… Gaano tayo ka-workaholic?
Kaya ba nating aminin na workaholic tayo
at kailangan na ng sasalba sa atin?
Do we depend more on our career and work?
To the point that na wala na tayong social life,
puro trabaho na lang day and night.
We must always remember these things:
OUR WORK COMES FROM GOD
Naniniwala ako na lahat ng trabaho ay galing sa Diyos.
Human as we are, we are designed to work.
That’s also why practically speaking,
kung wala tayong trabaho, wala rin tayong kita.
Basically, we can hardly survive and enjoy the fruits of labor.
Kung sabihin ng iba na maliit lang ang sweldo sa trabaho,
o kaya nama’y wala sa linya ng expertise o kurso,
part-time man o full-time ang ating trabaho…I believe God has placed us in our work for a purpose.
We are placed in a situation where we can…
SERVE GOD THROUGH PEOPLE
Dahil naniniwala rin ako na we are made to be fruitful.
We are made to be productive to bless others as well.
Sabi nga nila, how can we give what we don’t have?
Other than being workaholic at our offices and fields,
have we checked who are we really working for?
Baka kasi nagiging focus na natin yung trabaho
o ang boss natin instead of magnifying God in our work.
Not that I’m saying it’s bad to overwork.
But the bottom line is we must always work
for God and His people, this is also one of the many best ways
to be of influence with a greater purpose.
GOD DESERVES ALL OUR SERVICE AND LABOR
As His children here on earth, our God longs for us.
Especially for those who didn’t know Him yet.
With all our service and labor in everything that we do,
always remember that we serve a big God
who deserves all glory, honor and praise.
Always remember that God is our ultimate employer. He is our Big Boss.
