“Ang dami kong gusto gawin!”
“Nalilito ako kung ano ang sisimulan ko.”
“Ano nga ba ang priority ko?”
Confused ka ba at hirap makapili sa dami ng iniisip mo?
Hindi mo ba alam kung saan at paano ka mag-uumpisa?
Napapagod ka na ba dahil wala ka pang naumpisahan kahit isa?
If you are going through this stage in your life, you are not alone.
The thing is, we can’t reach our destination kung hindi tayo marunong mag-umpisa. Since we have a lot of things in mind, this makes us confused and holds us back from being successful at something.
KNOW YOUR PRIORITY
Makakatulong kung isusulat natin ang lahat ng mga nasa ‘wish list’ natin or everything that you want to do at the moment.
“I want to…”
- Have a sari-sari store.
- Put up a clothing shop.
- Continue my passion as a police.
- Establish a small farm sa province.
- Invest in a mutual fund.
And the list goes on and on. After a while, basahin natin ito ng paulit-ulit at pakiramdaman kung alin ba sa mga ito ang talagang gusto nating ipagpatuloy.
LEARN TO STRATEGIZE
Another tip to help us decide is our current situation.
With what we are doing right now, I’m sure we know where we are good at or what we are capable of doing.
Ask yourself: “Saan ba ako magaling?” – and use it as your strategy.
Ako, for example, I am a motivational speaker and financial adviser now because I learned that I am at my best when I talk and influence people.
Kung ikaw ay:
- Magaling mag-ipon at magpaikot ng pera, then you might be a good entrepreneur.
- Updated and interested with stocks or mutual funds, then you can try investing.
- Matapang, handang tumulong sa kahit anong oras, at willing magsakripisyo, then you can continue your job as a police officer, fireman, and the like.
CHECK YOUR RESOURCES
“Ha? Anong resources?”
Halimbawa, may baril tayo, pero wala namang bala. Mapapaputok ba natin ito? Of course not.
It is the same thing with trying to start something that we want.
An entrepreneur has to have money, people, and knowledge about the business.
A job seeker must have the right documents, a certain level of education, and experience.
An investor must have extra money and a thorough understanding of his or her preferred type of investment.
Hindi natin ito maisasakatuparan kung wala tayong mga resources, which are essential for the specific goals and dreams that we want.
And once everything has been set, JUST DO IT!
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Anong bagay ang gusto mo talagang simulan at i-prioritize?
What are your strategies?
Do you have the resources?
