This is our 6th day here in Ireland and the experience is really unforgettable.
Ang daming magagandang tanawin; ang lamig ng panahon, daig pa ang Bagyo; maraming makasaysayan na lugar that dates back 1400’s. In other words, malulula ka sa mga lugar na pwede mong mabisita. But the most unforgettable moment was when I met a new friend here in Ireland who recently lost a loved one. Nahihirapan siya mag move on, at ang tanong niya habang siya nagkwekwento, “Ano pa ang saysay ng buhay kung wala na siya?” In other words, “What am I living for?” “Para pa saan itong ginagawang kong pagsisikap?”
Honestly, wala akong masasagot sa tanong na yan. But one thing I learned in life, “EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.”
Good things or bad things, may dahilan yan.
We may never know the ultimate reason why it happened but we just need to be in hope that things will work out for good and in faith that God allowed this to happen for a reason.
We just need to TRUST GOD that GOD is SOVEREIGN.
When you say sovereign, it means si Lord ang may control not us.
Alam niya kung ano ang ginagawa Niya, We just need to trust in Him na maganda ang plano niay para sa atin.
That brings me to my second point, that good things or bad things may happen in our life but it is meant for good. “What do you mean Chinkee? Dapat pa ako matuwa dahil nawala yung mahal ko sa buhay, nagkasakit yung anak ko, nawalan ako ng kita.”
What I am trying to say is that we just need to trust in God’s promises that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.
May purpose si Lord diyan, it can be:
To strengthen you as a person.
To test what is inside your heart.
To prepare you for a bigger promotion, because God test before He blesses.
To reveal what is inside our heart.
Kahit ano man ang Kanyang dahilan, kailangan natin magtiwala sa Kanya.
Kaya nga babalik na naman tayo sa sinabi niya na “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5,6
This is the moment of our life na we need to practice what we believe.
Hindi pwede yung lip service lang, pero dapat meron din gawa.
This is the part where we can place ourselves to the test kung genuine ba yung faith natin or fake.
So instead of focusing on the past and on the problem. Why don’t we ask God what is He revealing and teaching us in this situation.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
If you are also going through a stage of loss, whether loved one, business opportunity, promotion, loss of a job. Instead of asking God “Why did you allow this thing to happen?” Why don’t we ask God, “What are you trying to teach me?”
