Well, that’s just how it is for Filipinos or kahit naman siguro sinong bansa na may kanya kanyang representative. Everyone feels pressured, anxious, and excited every time this prestigious pageant happens.
Why? Because Miss Universe IS Miss Universe.
BE HAPPY OF OTHER PEOPLE’S SUCCESS
Ito ay dahil batikan na si Miss Pia sa mga beauty contest, as a matter of fact, this is her third time to join sa Bb. Pilipinas bago siya napili to represent our country.
Ganoon din sa opisina, kung may kaibigan kang na-promote then celebrate with him/her. Huwag nating hahatakin pababa. Complement the family for their hardwork and success. Celebrate and be happy for them. Huwag tayong maging bitter.
THANK GOD FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
Manalo o matalo, it doesn’t give you the excuse not to thank God for the opportunity. Noong unang na-announce na si Miss Colombia yung nanalo, I made a vlog and was congratulating Miss Pia for a job well done.
No, it’s because of God. He is the one who guided you in your journey. Either way, kapag nag-fail tayo at some point, still thank Him kasi He’s preparing you for something better.
You just need to wait and obey Him.
DO YOUR BEST
The moment when she decided to join the pageant, meron na siyang vision na siya ang mananalo kasi alam niya sa sarili niyang gagawin niya ang lahat for the title— she’ll study, practice, and do her best sa bawat aspeto ng pageant.
Doing our best, regardless kung gaano pa ka-simple o komplikadong sitwasyon pa iyan, will push us harder to be better than yesterday. It serves as our motivation to keep going kahit mahirapan pa tayo along the way. At least, kahit ano pa maging resulta niyan, alam mo sa sarili mo na hindi ka nagkulang and that you believe that???
EVERYTHING FALLS IN THE HANDS OF GOD
Pia did everything she could. Like what I’ve said, she studied, practiced, and did her best. So before the announcement of winners, it was her time to let go and let God make a decision for her.
Hindi natin dapat hawakan ng mahigpit ang ating mga problema, anxiety o fears so that God can take and hold it for you. Allow Him to do the work because He knows what’s best for you at the moment.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY
