Ayan malapit na ang pasko! Nandyan na ang kaliwa’t kanan na sales at promo. Syempre nandyan din ang mga pakulo ng mga banks for the credit card.

“Naku Chinkee. Mabuti na may credit card kasi at least next month pa namin babayaran ito.”

Wala namang kaso doon eh…
Pero mababayaran n’yo ba talaga ito next month?
Anu-ano ba dapat ang kailangan isaalang-alang?

OVERSPENDING

Magpapakatotoo lang tayo mga friendship. Kung ikaw yung tipo ng tao na hindi nagba-badyet, naku! Please lang ‘wag ka na kumuha ng credit card. Haha!

Ito ang advice ko, learn to budget. Kasi kung tayo yung lagi na lang overspend, ang ending, malamang lalaki lang ang utang sa credit card company.

Tandaan, ang credit card ay hindi debit card. Ibig sabihin, utang ito. Kahit gaano pa kaganda ang offer nila, kung hindi nga natin mapagkasya ang pera natin kada buwan, lalo lang tayo magigipit dahil sa mga

CHARGES

Yes. May mga charges ang credit card. Imagine mo kung wala eh paano kumikita ang mga credit card companies ‘di ba?

Hindi natin goal na mabayaran lang ang minimum amount. Ang goal natin ay mabayaran ang total amount. So kung laging minimum amount lang ang mababayaran, may charges na ito.

At kada buwan na hindi ito nababayaran ay buwan-buwan ding nadadagdagan ang mga charges. Kaya kung gagamit ng credit card ay siguraduhing on or before the due date ay mabayaran natin ito.

Pero kung may cash naman, ay gumamit na ng cash para iwas

TEMPTATIONS

Yes! May psychological effect kasi kapag card lang. Hindi kasi tayo naglalabas ng pera o parang hindi nababawasan yung pera natin.

Pero tandaan na hindi katumbas ng credit card ang cash. Meaning, kahit hindi mo bayaran ngayon ang binili mong gadget, next month ay kailangan mo itong bayaran.

In short, ‘di pa rin tayo bayad sa binili nating gamit o pagkain. Mahirap pa dito kapag sobrang laki na ng utang, maaari nang kasuhan at pag nagkataon, magre-reflect ito sa records natin.
