Ayaw Magbaon Now, Pulubi Later

MAS COOL NA MAGBAON KAYSA PRETEND NA CAN AFFORD THEN PULUBI LATER

“Magbabaon? Ayoko nga, nakakahiya.”
“Eh, baka kung ano sabihin ng iba.”
“Magmumukha naman akong kawawa ‘nun.”

Naalala ko tuloy noong nasa elementarya pa ako. Dahil walang allowance na maibigay sina Mama, nagbabaon ako ng maraming kanin at Ma-ling. (Take note, not Spam kasi can???t afford during those times).

Kapatid, if you are pretending to be somebody you???re not, maniwala ka, ikaw rin ang mahihirapan in the long run. So, ano ang diskarte ulit? Utang na naman!

Friend, I think panahon na para magpakatotoo. Admit that you can???t afford. Wala namang nakakahiya dito. In fact, we should be proud because this simple trick will help us save and choose what we want to eat that are healthy and delicious based sa budget na kaya lang natin.

Never allow pride to settle in our hearts and minds. Labanan natin ito at matutong magpakumbaba.

Another reason is…

IT IS HARD TO SAY “NO”

Kapag sinabing:
“Uy, tara! ‘Dun tayo sa _______.”
“Tara, sige.” (Kahit walang pera.)

Kapag sinabing:
“Mahal ‘dun, pero masarap. Ano, game?”
“Oo ba!”

I know it is a cultural thing. It is so easy to be tempted to say YES, kahit labag sa kalooban, because we think and feel na kapag hindi tayo sumama, baka pag-isipan tayo ng hindi maganda.

You just need to be honest enough to tell them???

“Friend, sorry.

Maiintindihan nila ito and we can even serve as a good example to them as well. True friends will not force you to do something that will not benefit you…

We need to live truthful lives at maging practical.

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
