Ang Pagbabago Ay Nagsisimula Sa Ating Sarili

Nakapaglista ka na ba ng New Year???s Resolution mo? Ano-ano naman yung inilagay mo?

“Gusto ko na pumayat”
“Gusto ko na makaipon”
“Gusto ko na gumanda buhay ko”
“Gusto ko na makabayad sa pinagkakautangan ko”

Ang tanong, ito din ba yung mga resolution mo last year na hindi mo natupad? Kung oo, ano sa tingin mo ang dapat mong gawin para finally eh, umusad at matupad na yung mga gusto mong mangyari this year?

To come up with a resolution means more than just writing it. Kailangan din na pag aralan ito na may kasamang 101% commitment. Kasi kung isususlat mo lang ito ng wala kang baon na mga sandata, meaning hindi ka handa, hindi malayong huminto ka sa gitna at walang ma-fulfill o ma-accomplish this year.

Paano nga ba maisakatuparan ang goals?

1. FOCUS ONLY ON ONE THING
Ang pagkakamali natin minsan ay napakarami natin gustong mangyari at gawin na all at the same time. Hindi maganda yun kasi if you do that, hati hati ang atensyon mo.

Choose a resolution that is doable, where you can bring all your energy into it. The people who only have one goal in mind are the ones most likely to succeed in the end kasi your mind and body are only going towards one direction.

2. BE SPECIFIC
Say: “Gusto ko mag-lose ng 15 lbs. in 3 months!??? instead of ???Gusto ko na pumayat”.

Being specific with your goal/s will give you an idea kung ano ang tamang strategy para mas magawa mo ito ng mas madali at hindi yung nanghuhula ka or mag-arrive sa “okay na siguro ???to”.

Write down kung ano yung eksaktong gusto mong mangyari, including:

  • Ano yung resolution mo?
  • Bakit mo ito kailangang gawin?
  • Kelan ka magsisimula?
  • Kelan ang target date?
  • Paano mo ito gagawin?

3. PREPARE AND ANTICIPATE THE PROBLEMS
There will be times na hindi natin maiiwasan na meron tayong ma-encounter na mga problema brought about by the people around us or the environment in general.

Anticipating problems will help you prepare, just in case it happens. This will also free you from disappointments kapag hindi nag-work ang plan A mo kasi alam mo sa sarili mo na may bala kang nakahanda to cope with the challenges ahead of you.

4. IMAGINE THE END RESULT
Kadalasan, may mga taong napapahinto o nawawalan ng gana kasi ang nakikita lang ay yung pagod at hirap.

Kung gusto mo mag succeed sa goals mo this 2016, focus on the end-result and not on the hardships. Isipin mo yung saya, ginhawa, and fulfillment once you’ve reached it.

Halimbawa:
“Sa April, dahil sa 3x a week ako sa gym, wala na itong bulges ko sa tiyan”
“Bago matapos ang taon, dahil sa P500 per payday ko na itatabi, wala na akong utang”

5. REWARD YOURSELF
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Every step and a job well done is something to be happy about kaya deserve mo na ireward naman ang sarili mo to be more encouraged and motivated. This will also help you recharge sa mga susunod na araw.

Pwede ka mag ???cheat day???, matulog buong araw, or mag-mall???kahit ano that will give you a break from all the pressure.

6. ASK FOR SUPPORT
Don’t be afraid to ask support from a family member or a friend na magsisilbing cheering squad mo.

Knowing that there will be someone to push you no matter what, for sure, hindi ka na magkakaroon ng rason para tumigil pa.
