I had an unfortunate experience at the airport today. My attention was called and pinatimbang lahat ng mga dala namin – pati na rin ang personal bag or parang handbag na bitbit ko.
I just lost it.
Sabi ko..
“I travel frequently gamit ang airline ninyo ni minsan hindi ako ni-require i-weigh ang handbag ko.”
Ang sagot…
“SOP lang po Sir..”
Feeling ko kasi unnecessary ang pinapagawa kaya humirit pa ako…
“Is this how you treat your loyal passengers? Kung ganyan lang naman, i-bo- boycott ko na ang airline ninyo.”
Umalis nako. But nung humupa na ang inis ko, I realized mali rinang inasal ko. Struck by guilt, The Holy Spirit told me to go back and apologize to the woman I earlier confronted. Yun ang ginawa ko. Bumalik ako dun sa babae at humingi ako ng paumanhin sa mga sinabi ko and apologized sa naging behavior ko. Hindi dapat ako nagalit ng ganun.
What have I learned from that experience?
SOMETIMES, YOU JUST NEED TO KEEP YOUR COOL.
Most of the time, kapag na-ha- hassle tayo, we react negatively. But we also have to understand that people are just doing their job. We can complain pero hindi dapat sa pagalit na paraan.
Wala namang hindi nakukuha sa maayos na usapan. So chill lang, kasi sa huli tayo rin ang lugi dahil masisira lang ang mood at araw natin.
NEVER ALLOW YOUR EMOTIONS TO GET THE BEST OF YOU.
We should rule over our emotions and not the other way around.
