Nagquack-quack siya nang nagquack-quack with all of his might hanggang sa madinig sila ng kanilang amo.
Whenever we encounter difficulties in life, we’ll either sink or swim. Kapag halos malunod na tayo sa dami ng problema natin, we have a choice. Papayag ba tayong malunod o tayo ba ay lalangoy?
One thing I’ve learned throughout the years is that having the right mindset is important in this life. How we see things is always a matter of perspective dahil hindi naman tayo pareho mag-isip.
For us to win in this life, we have to swim and confront hardships. We have to resolve it, rather than dissolve it. And for us to do that, we have to be guided by these principles:
WE ALL HAVE TROUBLES.
But we should find comforted in the thought that God will not give us a problem that we cannot bear and overcome.
WE HAVE A CHOICE.
Malaya tayong nakakapili. We should only make sure that we are surrounded with people who make good choices or those who will swim with us and help keep us afloat.
WE HAVE A GOD.
The powerful God who created everything will grant us the grace and strength to overcome the troubles in this world. He will provide a way when there seems to be no way. He will give us the wisdom, desire, and energy to swim. We just need to ask for help and trust in Him.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
What hardships are you facing right now?
Are you going to sink or swim?
Have you asked God for help?
