4 Ways To Change A Bad Habit

Naisip mo na bang tigilan ang isang masamang habit, pero hindi mo magawa?

Bad habits such as:

  • Waking up late.
  • Manana habit.
  • Excessive use of gadgets.
  • Panay umpisa, walang natatapos.
  • Pagsisinungaling.

Familiar ba ang mga ito sa iyo?

Ito ang iilan sa klase ng mga gawain na hindi mapigilan gawin ng iba sa atin.

‘Yung iba masama, ‘yung iba naman ay hindi gaano.

But just the same, may mga oras na gusto na natin itong tigilan – lalo na kapag hindi na maganda ang kinalalabasan o ang epekto nito sa atin.

Nahihirapan ka ba kasi sa tuwing gagawin mo na ito, biglang magbabago ang isip mo? Ano kaya sa tingin mo ang problema?

Gusto mo na bang maayos ng tuluyan ang mga unhealthy habits mo?

Paano nga ba makawala sa isang BAD HABIT?

ALAMIN KUNG ANO ANG TAMA AT MALI.

It means knowing the difference between right and wrong.
Minsan kasi, alam na ngang mali, gagawin pa rin ito.
Kung gusto natin talagang matigil na ang bad habit na iyan, we must learn how to say NO to something that is not right.

This may be hard at first dahil pakiramdam mo, malaking parte ang mawawala sa iyo. But as you do this, you???ll soon realize na:

“Ako dapat ang nagdidikta sa sarili ko at hindi ang habit na nakasanayan ko.”

LIST THE PROS AND CONS.

Make sure na kapag ginawa mo ito, you???ll do it with all honesty para hindi ka maging biased.

Example: MASAMANG BISYO

Advantages:

  • Nakakalimutan ang problema.
  • Feeling of calmness.
  • ‘In’ sa society.

Disadvantages:

  • Malubhang ubo.
  • Malaking kabawasan sa budget.
  • Sobrang pagka-adik.
  • Pag-ikli ng buhay.

This will help you choose wisely kasi mapapaisip ka talaga kung tama pa ba na ginagawa mo ang isang bagay na short-term lang ang advantages, kumpara sa long-term disadvantages nito sa iyo – at risk na nga ang buhay mo, masakit pa ito sa bulsa.

BE MINDFUL OF THE TRIGGERS.

Tuwing kalian mo ba ginagawa ang mga ito?
O sinong mga kasama mo sa tuwing gagawin mo ito?

“Umiinom ako kapag kasama ko ang mga KAIBIGAN ko.”
“Kumakain ako ng sobra-sobra KAPAG MALUNGKOT AKO.”
“Late ako nagigising kapag napupuyat ako sa KAPAPANOOD NG TV.”

Now that you???ve identified the triggers, help yourself by eliminating or staying away from them.

Or kung mga tao ang pinagmumulan nito, tell them that you???re planning to quit the habit and maybe they could be the one to remind you each and every time that you???re about to do it.

If they really love you, they will support you – no matter what.

REPLACE IT WITH A GOOD HABIT.

Everything has an alternative, we just need to find that one thing that can replace it para hindi na tayo mapasama or hindi na ito lumala pa.

  • Kung mahilig ka masyado sa cakes o chocolates, try fruits instead.
  • Kung mahilig kang kagatin ang kuko mo, chew a gum.
  • Kung tinatamad ka, psyche yourself for a reward para sipagin ka.

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.

Anong bad habit mo ngayon?
Paano ito nagsimula at tuwing kailan mo ito ginagawa?
Anong gagawin mo to change it?
