PETMALU SA PAGKAIN

Kain dito, kain doon.

Buffet dito, buffet doon.

Party dito, party doon.

 

Basta kung sa’n may pagkain,

present ka at hindi ka magpapahuli.

 

PAANO MO MALALAMAN NA IKAW AY PETMALU sa PAGKAIN?

 

Sinusubukan mo lahat ang mga bagong bukas ng resto

at parati kang naghahanap ng mga deals

sa mga online shopping website para makakuha ng groupons.

 

Kung may party, feeling mo na para kang isang 100 meter dash runner.

Na oras na marinig mo yung, “The buffet table is now open.”

Mas mabilis ka pa sa alas kwatro, una ka parati sa pila.

 

Bawat nguya, sobra kang nag-e-enjoy

habang ninanamnam mo ang lasa ng pagkain.

 

Abala ka sa mga favorite mong snacks at tsitsirya.

Feeling mo gutom ka palagi, kahit kakain mo pa lamang.

 

Kahit busog ka na, pinipilit mo pa rin kumain.

Feeling mo mapipigtas na ang butones ng iyong pantalon,

at lumalabas na ang pagkain sa iyong ilong at tenga.

 

Nakatatawa man basahin,

pero minsan guilty tayo sa sobra natin love na kumain.

 

Wala naman masama kumain as long as in moderation.

Ok lang naman, tikman ang lahat, huwag lang natin lafangin.

Yun bang, kahit busog na, takaw tingin pa rin.

 

Aaminin ko, ang lakas ko talaga kumain dati noong ako ay batang-bata pa.  

Pero ngayon at 52, kahit gusto ko pa rin kumain, hindi na rin kinakaya. Lol!

 

So bago pa tayo magpatuloy sa isa pang food trip,

ano ang pwede natin gawin upang hindi naman mabutas ang ating bulsa?

Wala naman masama kumain sa labas,

but make sure may budget naka set aside

on a weekly or monthly basis.

 

STICK TO YOUR BUDGET

Kung ang budget ay P500 lang per week,

huwag mo ng pilitin na kumain sa mas mamahaling resto.

 

If you need to eat at a buffet that is worth around P1,000,

e ‘di  i-sacrifice mo na yung first week,

at sama mo na sa second week na budget mo.

I think the best para rin maging wais at praktikal,

imbis na kumain sa labas, mas tipid kung mag share na lang kayo

ng food na paborito n’yong kainin.

 

Bilang pangwakas, masarap naman kumain.

Just eat in moderation.

We eat to live but not live to eat.
