Nitong September 23 lang, I conducted my very first seminar ONLINE.
It was my first time to set up something like that.
I came to realize na there’s a possibility pala to reach out even to those who live anywhere in the Philippines and abroad who wants to join. Thanks to technology.
Yun nga lang pwede ring teknolohiya at reliability ng telco service ang maging problema.
We encountered this nang maapektuhan ang quality ng live streaming para sa ibang participants.
Did it bother me? Yes, sa umpisa.
Hindi naman natin kayang i-kontrol lahat.
Pero naisip ko, there are lessons we could learn mula sa nangyari.
THERE’S ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
Keyword: FIRST TIME
Naalala mo ba yung first time mo sumubok ng bago?
Tipong bagong recipe, taking up a new hobby o pagsabak sa bagong trabaho?
Huminto ba tayo when we got it wrong the first time?
I’m guessing, HINDI.
Tinignan natin kung saan pa tayo pwede mag-improve para we can progress little-by-little and succeed at it, eventually.
WE LEARN TO LISTEN
Kung walang magsasabi na may mali o kulang sa ginagawa natin, how will we ever know?
Pakinggan natin ang mga puna.
With the help of comments and suggestions, we begin to realize the things that we can’t see alone.
WE LEARN TO BE GOOD PLANNERS
Kapag aware na tayo kung saan natin pwedeng galingan, meron pang mas “pinong” details na kaya pa nating pagandahin.
Kung merong PLAN A, meron pa itong sub-categories before we go to PLAN B, C, D to Z.
We need to consider the large details down to the smallest details just to be sure na walang ma-overlook next time.
“New experiences offer us wisdom and growth.”
-Chinkee Tan, Filipino Motivational Speaker
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
- What were the things that you did for the first time?
- How’s your progress so far?
- What are you doing to improve it?
