Everything that happens in life is a product of things that we do repeatedly. This is otherwise known as HABIT.
We all have habits, it is either we acquire a GOOD ONE or a BAD ONE.
Which one do we have?
During a speaking engagement yesterday, I shared some insights about what it takes to be successful.
Lahat naman ng tao gustong umasenso, di ba.
Success sa work life, family life, relationships, financial life or spiritual life.
One bad habit I believe most people need to break is PROCRASTINATION.
Alam mo na dapat mo siyang gawin ngayon pero pina-bubukas mo na lang. Kasi parati ang nasa isip ay…
‘May time pa naman’
‘May bukas pa naman’
‘Malayo pa naman and deadline’
‘Pagod na ako, I deserve a break’
So, once we take a break, we do amusing things like, watching TV or your favorite TeleSerye, playing your favorite games, scanning through your favorite social media. Na hindi mo namamalayan, naubos na ang oras mo at napuyat ka pa. Kaya bukas hindi ka na naman productive dahil kulang ka sa energy para tapusin ang trabaho.
This is not helping you move forward in life. As a matter of fact, this is one of the major reasons why you are stagnant and unable to achieve success.
Do you want to put a stop on this bad habit of PROCRASTINATION?
To be honest with you, it is so challenging and difficult to stop.
The strategy is to replace the old habit and develop a new one.
Instead of watching your favorite teleserye or surfing through social media, why don’t you read a book.
Instead of playing your favorite games, why don’t you exercise and do some physical activities like boxing, cycling or jogging.
If we can change our OLD habit, the NEW habit will change us.
Why don’t you try it and see how it will change your life.
“If we can change our OLD habit, the NEW habit will change us.”
