Naalala niyo pa ba sa WWF (World Wrestling Federation)?
May kilala ba kayong ultimate worrier?
Aminin natin, we tend to overthink and worry too much over things that aren???t happening yet.
Full disclosure: I used to be a major worrier.
One thing that helped me cope with this problem was reading the Bible.
It taught me not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today???s trouble is enough for today (Matthew 6:34).
Let me share with you why we should not worry and just live one day at a time.
WORRYING WILL NOT SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS.
Walang benefit ang pag-aalala. It will just give us stress and other negative feelings.
WORRYING QUESTIONS GOD???S CREDIBILITY.
Whenever we worry, it makes us doubt God???s capability to provide for our needs and take care of us. Being restless and antsy about the future sends a message that God???s promises are not true. When we trust GOD, we do not need to worry.
WORRYING WILL JUST STEAL OUR PEACE AND JOY.
Instead of worrying, try to thank the Lord for every single blessing that HE has given us.
Instead of worrying, try to reflect on His goodness and faithfulness.
Don???t let worry steal your peace and joy. It???s not worth it.
Before I wrap things up, let me leave you with this Bible verse:
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” – Matthew 6:25-27
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Ultimate worrier ka ba?
How often do you worry?
In what situation do you need to stop worrying and start thanking God?
Are you living one day at a time?
