Pres. Duterte Inspirational Tips: Removing The Entitlement Mentality

August 5, 2016 By chinkeetan

Wala namang masama kung magkaroon ng ganoong klaseng plaka to show support to our President.

I feel for those who think that merely displaying anything that’s labeled with DU30 can get them out of a traffic violation. Alam na natin dapat, by now, that our President is a stickler for following rules – may it be a simple curfew ordinance or an order to speed up the issuance of business permits.

He doesn’t have self-entitlement issues, kahit pa may karapatan siyang gamitin ang kanyang impluwensiya, being the most powerful person in the land.

President Duterte sends a strong message of wanting to wipe out the entitlement mentality. He wants his cabinet officials to obey traffic rules na walang partiality. It trickles down to even the simplest of rules, gaya ng pagsusuot ng helmet para sa mga motorcycle drivers at riders.

Kaya naman katulad ng ordinaryong pasahero sa NAIA, the President went through the security checks – frisking included.

We finally have a leader who “walks the talk”.

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.

Do you have an entitlement mentality?
Pabor ka ba sa VIP or special treatment?
Are you willing to obey the law of this land?
