What to Do when You’re being Treated Unfairly

October 6, 2015 By chinkeetan

“Kaya pala ganyan ang takbo eh, babae nagmamaneho”Have you ever experienced being treated unfairly because of your age, gender, physical features, religion, race/color, disability, or your past?

Anong naramdaman mo? Ang sakit, hindi ba?

That is what exactly what I used to feel when I was at high school.

Ano-ano nga ba ang pwede mong gawin when you are being treated unfairly by a family member, a friend, colleague, or even a stranger?

1. BE STRONG
Face it and be brave about it.

To start with, we are all special and created uniquely, kaya kahit ano pa ang maranasan mo, labas lang sa kabilang tenga at huwag ka magpadala.

Wag mo pababain ang tingin mo sa sarili mo, and instead, embrace who you are and maximized what you have been blessed with. The best revenge is to prove them wrong.

2. BE AN INSPIRATION TO OTHERS

So what you can do is: DO NOT BE LIKE THEM.

3. THE SOLUTION IS WITHIN YOU

Instead na maawa ka sa sarili mo, wasting your time on blaming the other person, being angry and bitter, or thinking of ways on how to get even sa mga taong unfair sayo, gamitin mo yung oras mo para maging positive at maghanap ng paraan kung paano maghanap ng solusyon sa iyong sitwasyon. Focus your time and energy at the solution.

4. CRY OUT TO GOD
The easiest form of expression when we’re hurt or when we’re in pain is to cry it all out. You can pray and cry out to God. The good news is even others may look down at you and belittle you, but God will never do that. He will never abandon you but instead He will encourage and empower you to be the best person that you can be.

I hope this short blog ay nakatulong sa iyo at nalinawagan ka kung ano ang dapat mong gawin. It is time to get a hold of yourself and handle it well by facing it like a mature person. Panahon na para lumaban, PUSO!!!

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.

Why were you treated unfairly?
How will you face it kapag nangyari uli ito?
What are your strengths which you could focus on?
